Montjustin

Montjustin offers a unique view of the Luberon and its surroundings. Visit its ramparts, its stone houses and the ruins of the Notre-Dame des Neiges church, from the 16th century. On the town hall square, stop off at the École Buissonnière, a friendly place where you can taste local products...

Montfuron

The whole village of Montfuron is a hymn to Provençal poetry, thanks to its sublime church with a square bell tower, built of dry stone, its shaded square of lime trees, its belvedere, located at the top of the village, where you absolutely have to climb, to have an unforgettable 360° view, and finally its working mill, unique in the region.

Villemus

Stronghold of the Lords of Villemus in the 11th century, the village is built in steps and you will need breath for this visit, starting with the remains of the castle. From up there, in addition to contemplating a few sections of wall while dreaming of times past, and admiring the Romanesque bell tower of the nearby church, you can also enjoy a panoramic view of the Forcalquier basin, the Lure mountain and the Luberon. A round fountain and its wash house, some beautiful doors from the 16th and 17th centuries, quiet stepped streets, nooks and crannies: here is what offers a peaceful setting for “the art of living in Provence”.

Vachères

Vachères is a perched village typical of the country of Haute Provence which offers extraordinary landscapes : at the highest point of the town (910 m) you can admire a panorama over 7 departments !!! You will stroll with pleasure in the cobbled streets of Vachères, you will come across beautiful stone houses, a priory and covered passages which give a lot of character to the village. Small roads will guide you quietly from the gorges of Oppedette in Colorado Provençal to Rustrel...
